Looking for activities for kids during spring break? At Wild Things Nature Camp, children explore nature through games, activities, and arts & crafts. At our spring break camp, we will learn all about the changes happening in spring and the nature around us! Make sure to dress for the outdoors – bring a raincoat!

Day Camps will be available to children ages 6 to 12 (must be six by the session start date). Each session will include games, sports, arts and crafts, and special events to include naturalist activities, Activities available each session will include games, sports, swimming (one time per week), arts and craft activities, special events, off-site trips (once per session), and many more indoor and outdoor activities.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
(Before and Aftercare will be available beginning at 7:30 am and ending at 5:30 pm.)
Multi-Sibling discount for session fees only – 1st child full price, 2nd, 3rd, etc. less $20 from session cost for a two-week session, and $10 discount for one-week sessions.

EXTENDED CARE FEES:
Two-week session fees: $80 for both before and aftercare. Pay during registration, and click the appropriate after/before care you need when prompted.
For anyone not pre-registered for this option that needs extended care during their session the daily charge will be $5 for before or aftercare and $10 for both.
*Late pick-up fees - $3 per every 5 minutes parent is late per child. Fee will be charged to the account.

Swimming each week. No refrigeration is provided. Playgrounds will open and remain open for light rain and will close if a storm arises or if rain is heavy (and we are unable to stay dry under the pavilions). We will attempt to reopen in the afternoon if the rain closes us in the morning. Please make sure children are appropriately dressed for the weather. Lunch is provided for free daily to Playground Program Locations through the City of Frederick’s Summer Food Service Program. No Camp on June 19th or July 4th.

Parents/Guardians need to be aware of weather conditions throughout the day, so they can pick up or make other arrangements for their children in case of playground closings due to the weather. No before or after care is provided.

Join us this summer for a weeklong exploration of all thing's nature! Kids will spend time outside, discovering the ecosystems and critters around us! They'll learn about ecology and environmental science through games and nature explorations. They will also have the chance to learn wilderness skills and create nature art.
Make sure to dress appropriately and wear sunscreen and bug spray! We will be spending as much time outside as possible.
